Chihiros NOVA 1 Marine LED Light
Description
The Chihiros Nova 1 is a new LED light from a company which will be unknown to reef aquarium keepers but which has come to mean excellence in another side of the hobby. For several years now Chihiros has been building up a broad rich catalog of LED lights for planted aquariums and a healthy and popular following to go along with it.
The Chihiros RGB Vivid and WRGB light fixtures are the best of the freshwater aquascaping world and the company steps into those shoes with the Chihiros Nova 1, their first light fixture for reef aquariums. The just-announced Chihiros Nova 1 is light on overall specs and features but we do know that this small form factor light fixture is packing 126 watts of power for a total light production of 3,800 lumens.
The Chihiros Nova 1 appears to be roughly a six inch square box, about an inch thick with a full panel of closely spaced diodes which takes more than a little inspiration from the Ecotech Radion in its design. The 126 watts are spread across 61 LEDs for great luminous efficiency and they are supported with wide angle diffusing lenses with a a spread that is suitable for up to about 60 cm or two feet of reef tank.
Close resemblance with the Radion G5 aside, Chihiros has included what appears to be four larger lenses in a square arrangment which we presume are either for more powerfully driven LEDs, for added shimmer to the soft light spread or both. We don’t know which colors of LEDs are included in the Chihiros Nova 1 or how many control channels are available for fine tuning the spectrum but Chihiros has a reputation for making freshwater plants really pop in an aquarium so we expect they’ve done the same for their new reefing light.
Shipping & delivery
LOCAL DELIVERY
1. Delivery within Singapore will be charged at a flat rate of SGD10 per order for standard delivery and SGD10 - 25 per order for express delivery, regardless of the number of items.
2. Local orders above SGD100 will be entitled to FREE standard delivery.
3. Your order will be delivered by courier for livestocks or by registered parcel for plants and accessories.
4. You will receive a notification via email or sms when the order has been dispatched.
5. We are unable to ship orders to restricted locations in Singapore including: Changi Air Freight Center, Changi Airport, Jurong Island, Jurong Port, PSA Terminal Wharves – Tanjong Pagar / Pasir Panjang / Sembawang and MINDEF COMCEN.
6. Your order will be ready for delivery within 3 to 7 working days (Wed or Saturday), orders for livestock will be packed on the same day for the dispatch.
7. In the event of Death on Arrival (DOA), please send clear photo or video of the unopened bag by email within 24 hours. Buyer can opt for a replacement of similar value and make payment for shipping again or request for a refund LESS the costs of delivery / shipping.

1. Orders from overseas will be dispatched directly from our holding facilities to the Exporter.
2. The shipping fee is calculated based on the number of fishes plus the cargo, quarantine costs from our holding facilities to the Exporter and all the way to the Transhipper (Importer).
3. The shipping fee DOES NOT cover the handling and postage fees from Transhipper to your address.
4. Buyers are required to PAY the transhipping fee directly to the Transhipper.
5. You will be notified of the shipment dates available via email.
6. It will take 2-3 days for the order to reach the Exporter, and another 1-2 days for it to arrive at your Transhipper.
7. The Transhipper will then ship the order to you upon receiving confirmation of your preferred shipping date and address.
8. In the event of Death on Arrival (DOA) with the exception of Betta Macrostomas, please send clear photo or video of the unopened bag by email within 24 hours. Buyer can opt for a replacement of similar value and make payment for shipping again or request for a refund LESS the costs of delivery / shipping.
