Iven Betta
Luciocephalus Aura
Description
Bring more movement to the waterline with a fish that explores and feeds near the aquarium’s surface. Its upper-level activity creates a lively focal point in a planted display, adding contrast to fish that spend more time elsewhere in the tank.
Tall plants and floating cover create pathways and shaded areas near the top. Leave open swimming room at the surface, where you can watch it explore and feed.
- Surface-dwelling activity: Its habits keep attention on the waterline during feeding and exploration.
- Planted-tank setting: Tall stems and floating cover provide upper-level pathways and shade.
- Company of its kind: This gregarious fish appreciates being kept with others of its kind.
- Room for males: Males may compete over territory, and cramped conditions can lead to injuries, so provide ample space.
- Community aquarium: Its peaceful nature makes it suited to a mixed aquarium.
- Steady care: Regular maintenance and stable water conditions support its well-being.
Give it a spacious aquarium with an open area at the top, and its surface-level activity can bring a fresh focal point to your planted display.
