Peckoltia Compta L134
Description
Peckoltia Compta L134, commonly known as the Leopard Frog Pleco, brings a bold, miniature pattern to your freshwater tank. This Peckoltia compta is distinguished by a dark body offset by vivid yellow stripes that run the full length of its frame, creating a truly eye-catching look.
At just 3–4 cm when fully grown, this pleco fits effortlessly into nano tanks and tight spaces where larger bottom-dwellers would overwhelm the scenery. The compact size makes it a perfect stocking choice for planted tanks or minimalist setups that still crave dynamic color and pattern.
Key features
- Distinctive Leopard pattern: dark body with yellow stripes running along its entire length
- Small adult size: 3–4 cm, ideal for compact aquariums
- Striking visual contrast that elevates any dark substrate or natural décor
Ideal setup and display ideas
Position the Leopard Frog Pleco where its pattern can be admired—against dark substrates, near driftwood, or among rocks to make the yellow stripes stand out. Its compact silhouette allows it to blend into a diverse, peaceful community tank while still offering visual interest from a distance.
